Ribbon Cuttings
Information on Chamber Ribbon Cuttings:
- There is a $195 fee for Basic Investor Members (higher tiers included in membership).
- Standard times for the ceremony are Tu/Wed/Thu at 12pm or 5pm OR Fri at 12pm (No Friday dates in June or July) – as long as another Chamber event does not overlap. Recommend scheduling 3 weeks or more before desired date. Check our calendar here.
- Members without a brick-and-mortar office may use the Chamber office if available.
- We bring the ribbon, big scissors and arrange for the News-Dispatch to publish a photo. Often Community Impact Southwest Austin/Dripping Springs also covers the ribbon cutting.
- An article copy is provided by the business to be included with the ribbon cutting photo in the newspaper and a Chamber newsletter.
- The event will be on our online calendar, social pages, weekly newsletter, and we directly invite our Chamber board and Ambassadors.
- Be sure to invite all your employees/members to attend and be in photo.
- Having refreshments and snacks is a good idea, but not necessary.
